I've never seen so many birds in the garden. Half a dozen
Sparrows fighting for territory with a similar number of
Bullfinches. A sizeable family of
Blue Tits flitting between the trees, a
Green Woodpecker pecking at Ants on the lawn, and a solitary
Robin sitting on the fence watching it all.
We must be doing something right in the garden, perhaps it's this years 'less tidy' approach to gardening. All we need now is the return of the
Blackbirds. Where
do all the Blackbirds go at this time of year?
